  1. Aries - March 21st Mr. Sun wakes up from a good night's sleep and wonders, "What's it all about?" He sets off on a quest to find out. Aries the Ram, having nothing better to do, tags along.
  2. Taurus - April 20th Taurus the Bull head butts Aries the Ram. Both of them end up with a headache. Aries goes home.
  3. Gemini - May 21st Mr. Sun and Taurus find a traveling animal hospital, run by Gemini the Twins. The twin doctors give Taurus some aspirin for his headache, and he goes home.
  4. Cancer - June 21st The animal hospital breaks down. Gemini the Twins stop to fix it. Cancer the Crab has just recovered from a bad cold and tags along with Mr. Sun.
  5. Leo - July 23rd Leo the Lion greets the travelers with a ferocious roar. Cancer the Crab runs away.
  6. Virgo - August 23rd The travelers meet Virgo the Virgin, the president of the vegetarian society. Virgo sends Leo off to find more carrots. Mr. Sun makes witty small talk.
  7. Libra - September 23rd Mr. Sun and Virgo the Virgin meet a traveling grocer, who is pushing a cart with scales for weighing vegetables. The scales are named Libra. Virgo buys some rutabagas and goes off to cook them while they are still fresh and crisp.
  8. Scorpio - October 23rd Scorpio the Scorpion, neurotically afraid of getting fat, wants to weigh himself on the grocer's scales.
  9. Sagittarius - November 23rd Sagittarius the Archer diplomatically suggests that Scorpio's company might be better appreciated elsewhere.
  10. Capricorn - December 22nd Mr. Sun and Sagittarius the Archer come to a lake that blocks the path. Capricorn the Sea Goat offers to carry Mr. Sun across.
  11. Aquarius - January 20th On the far side of the lake, the travelers meet Aquarius the Water Bearer, who is filling his water jar at the lake.
  12. Pisces - February 19th Aquarius fills the tank of two fish named Pisces. The kid they'd hired to push their cart hadn't shown up, leaving them high and almost dry. Mr. Sun offers to help.
  13. Vernal Equinox Mr. Sun comes full circle back home to the Vernal Equinox. What does it all mean?
